In connection with this, mail left Richmond Hill Post Office by all the methods on Sept. 25th and 27th with their destination "Capo", a post office at the exhibition.
On Sunday, Sept. 25th, a train with an old wood burner engine left Richmond Hill station with 2,000 special envelopes and stamps. On Tuesday, Sept. 27th the Old John Thompson Stage Coach which used to run between Toronto and Richmond Hill and which has been rebuilt by the Toronto transportation commission, driven by men in authentic clothing left at nine o’clock with another 1,000 letters. At ten o'clock the pony rider received 300 letters in saddle bags. The runner failing to show up, Bruce Murchison, a pupil at Richmond Hill District High School volunteered carry the next mail out and he also took 300 letters.
