To THE MEMBERS AND ADHERENTS OF THE CANADA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, RICHMOND HILL, — It is with very grateful feelings that I present to you this my first Annual Report. As you will see by it, you are not only out of debt but have a small balance on hand, and as you have at your Annual Meeting very wisely and not before time added one hundred dollars to Mr. Dick’s salary, it will require a little effort to meet it; but in which there should be no difficulty, as nearly all of the above subscriptions might, with a little trouble be doubled, and some of them ought to be. Your privileges are very great, Providence is yearly providing you with His bounties — you live in a land of Gospel privileges, blest with both peace and plenty. It is therefore your bounden duty to give, as God has prospered you, for the support of Gospel ordinances. Let you efforts be united, let them be determined, and you will surprise even yourselves by the great amount of good you will be able to accomplish and believe me, dear friends, one with you in faith and hope.
Yours respectfully, ROBERT MARSH, Treasurer.
